In this exclusive interview with Hope4Cancer Founder and Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Tony Jimenez, Candelaria shares why she is so passionate about integrative medicine, how she got her professional start, and what ultimately attracted her to Hope4Cancer Treatment Centers.

For as long as she can remember, Candelaria has dedicated herself to understanding the human body and providing patients with comprehensive nutritional counsel.

After obtaining a degree in Nutrition from the National University of Córdoba in 2004 and a Master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics from Ibero-American University in 2010, her commitment and devotion only grew stronger, evident by her continuous pursuit of higher education. She now holds several certificates in the fields of Functional Medicine, Functional Nutrition, Vegan Nutrition, Nutritional Supplementation, and more.

Finding both a passion and a profession in nutrition, Candelaria’s endeavors have given her an extensive scope of experience. From working for top-tier Ritz Carlton to help improve the five-star hotel’s food quality and service to acting as a consultant for the Mexican federal government leading workshops on food and healthcare in low-income neighborhoods, to owning her own established private practice — Candelaria has always aspired to help others understand how to use nutrition to improve their lives.

In 2015, this aspiration evolved as Candelaria opened up her second private practice (still operating today), where she helps children and adults use integrative nutrition to improve symptoms related to autoimmune and neurodegenerative diseases. At Hope4Cancer Cancun, Candelaria continues to find aligned purpose in helping patients utilize nutrition and treatment options outside of the conventional standard.
