After receiving his medical degree from the University of Guadalajara, Dr. Fernando Mercado began his career in alternative medicine at the Alternative Medicine Center in early 2001. Two years later, he established a private integrative medicine practice in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, offering patients access to hyperbaric oxygen therapies, homotoxicology, massage therapy, and detoxification spa treatments.

By 2005, Dr. Mercado had transitioned to an alternative medical clinic, where he would become Chief Medical Advisor and acted as the lead physician in intravenous therapies and medical programs for over 14 years. He brings a range of expertise to the Hope4Cancer team, including valuable knowledge of gastrointestinal repair, detoxification, chronic infection, autoimmune disease, chronic degenerative disease, intravenous orthomolecular therapy, cell therapy, and neural therapy.

Over the last five years at Hope4Cancer, Dr. Mercado has expanded his experience in integrative oncology, working within a multidisciplinary clinical environment and participating in advanced non-toxic cancer therapy protocols, including involvement with endoscopic photodynamic therapy as part of our comprehensive patient care.
