Marcy's Story
Twenty five years ago, one impossible
moment changed everything.
Marcy Jimenez, wife of our founder Dr. Tony Jimenez, had her life changed in a moment most parents never imagine. Her six-year-old daughter was diagnosed with cancer.
Against the odds, and against the advice of many, Marcy made the kind of decision only a mother can make. She boarded a plane from her small hometown in Illinois and flew her little girl two thousand miles away to a small holistic clinic in Mexico, trusting there had to be another way.
That leap of faith led to her daughter's healing. Today, her daughter is cancer-free, and Marcy is a deeply blessed grandmother. The doctor who helped save her daughter's life would later become her husband.
Together, Marcy and Dr. Tony have devoted their lives to walking alongside others on their own healing journeys.
Her story is woven into the heart of Hope4Cancer — a reminder that behind every protocol, every therapy, every patient who walks through our doors, there is a family.
