Dr. Daniel Serrano, M.D.

BEST Physician (Behavioral, Emotional, Spiritual Transformation)

Cancún Center

Dr. Serrano discovered his calling early in life, when his own childhood hospitalizations awakened a deep sensitivity toward human suffering. He graduated as a Medical Surgeon from the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí and completed additional academic studies at the University of Cantabria in Spain. He later earned an International Master’s Degree in Palliative Care from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, along with specialized training in health ethics. Seeking to broaden his impact on patient care and healthcare systems, he also completed a Master’s in Health Management and Administration, strengthening his ability to guide individuals and communities more effectively.

Throughout his career, he learned that genuine healing requires a whole-person approach—honoring the physical body, emotional life, personal history, social support, and spiritual dimension. His experience accompanying patients through complex stages of illness revealed that even when options appear limited, profound transformation is still possible. This insight inspired him to deepen and further refine an integrative therapeutic approach focused on identifying the deeper roots of biological and emotional imbalances, helping patients recognize the meaningful changes that support recovery. Inspired by principles of inner clarity, self-awareness, and spiritual harmony—reflected in greater peace, resilience, and wellbeing—Dr. Serrano incorporates practices of deep reflection, mindful breathing, and emotional balance. His vision aligns naturally with the BEST program, enriching emotional development and spiritual transformation. His purpose is to guide each patient toward true integral health through the harmony of body, mind, and spirit.
