Linda Veronica Cardona Cornejo
Functions: Linda provides nutrition counseling to our patients at Hope4Cancer, bilingual.
At Hope4Cancer Institute we provide a balanced “full spectrum” nutrition program that takes into account this golden rule; “processed sugars feed cancer cells.” It is vital that our patient’s dietary intake consist mainly of natural fruits, vegetables, beans, grains, fish, salads, natural juices and plenty of alkaline water.
Linda consults our patients to assess their nutritional status and to deliver appropriate nutrition care during and after the treatments. She also supports the food service area in order to apply intervention strategies that improve the patient’s health.
She completed a B.S. in Nutrition and Food Science at Universidad Iberoamericana Tijuana and a Chronic Diseases Specialization at Universidad de Chile & Instituto de Nutrición y Tecnología de los Alimentos (INTA) in Santiago, Chile.
