Thymosin alpha-1 is a naturally occurring peptide produced by the thymus gland, extensively studied for its immune-supporting properties. One of its synthetic formulations, thymalfasin (Zadaxin), is approved in over 35 countries for treating conditions like hepatitis B and C.
