When Danielle Naslund received the horrible news of a breast cancer diagnosis, the young mother of two knew she wanted a viable treatment option — not one that simply prolonged her life for a couple of short months. With a 4-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter at home, she was set on a future in which she could watch her kids grow up.
“Life or Death”: Limiting Expectations
After discovering the lump that led to her diagnosis, Danielle and her husband immediately made an appointment with a surgeon. Before even having her case reviewed, she recalls being offered chemotherapy. Confident that an aggressive route of chemo and radiation didn’t feel right for her, Danielle faced an intimidating amount of backlash from her surgeon for remaining firm in her choice: “At one point, he looked at my husband and said, ‘Okay, well she doesn’t care whether she lives or dies, but what about you?’ I just thought, for real? You think you’re the one who decides whether I live or die?”
Embracing Intuition: “Doing What’s Right for Me”
Unwilling to compromise a future with her children, Danielle refused to live within the bounds of her surgeon’s expectations and instead decided to listen to her intuition. While searching for an alternative healing protocol, she discovered Hope4Cancer Treatment Centers, and was immediately relieved that she didn’t have to be forced into a program with a predestined expiration date.
“Coming to Hope4Cancer [is] a choice that’s allowed me not just three extra months to live, but the potential for a lifetime.”

Concerned About Breast Cancer?
According to the American Cancer Society, the most common symptom of breast cancer is a new lump or mass. However, despite increased use of screening mammography, more than half of all breast cancer cases are detected by women at home. Unfortunately, suspicious lumps are often only found by women once they’re large enough to be recognized by untrained hands, and the cancer has had ample time to progress.
My Breast Friend™ is an early detection kit that uses tactile training and accurate breast models to teach fingers exactly what to feel for. Supported by the MammaCare Method®, the world’s leading standard for performing and teaching clinical and personal breast examination, My Breast Friend™ has been found to significantly improve self-examinations, successfully training individuals how to recognize tumors as small as a pea.
If you’re concerned about breast cancer, order your own My Breast Friend™ training kit to ensure you’re conducting proper, proactive self-exams, and reduce your cancer risk.
