Recipe: Citrus Shine Breakfast Juice

Fresh fruits and vegetables are a nutritious way to start your day, and this Citrus Shine Breakfast Juice is a delicious, flavorful option. If you haven’t tried juicing yet, this simple juice is a great way to dip your toe into the world of juicing.

Juicing extracts the juice from fruits and vegetables, resulting in a liquid that contains the vitamins and minerals found in whole fruit. Juice has many unique benefits, from detoxification to boosting your immune system. But first, let’s define what kinds of juices are nutritious — and what kinds are not.

Fruit juice is often perceived as healthy, but the mass-produced juices found on most grocery store shelves can be just as unhealthy as sugary drinks! Even if it is labeled “100% pure,” or “100% natural,” manufacturers add flavor-boosting sugar and dangerous preservatives during the production process. The lowest-quality juices on the market may not even have any natural elements: they’re flavored sugar water. Furthermore, because the sugar is so concentrated, it is easy to consume a lot of sugar quickly without even realizing it.

That’s why this Citrus Shine Breakfast Juice, as well as juices made in small batches from whole fruits and vegetables, is such a good option. Free of preservatives and free of added sugar, this recipe features the nutritious fruits and vegetables needed to prevent cancer.

Juicing aids in both hydration and digestion. The high concentration of nutrients boosts immunity. Furthermore, if you don’t enjoy eating fresh fruits and vegetables, juicing is an easy and fun way to add them to your diet.

This juice features apples, oranges and lemons, complemented by nutrition-powerhouse cucumber. Drink it alone for a lighter breakfast, or freshen up your typical meal with this juice as a beverage. Enjoy!
