By plane: Conveniently located 30 minutes south of San Diego International Airport, we happily provide patients a free shuttle service from the airport or your accommodations in San Diego directly to our Baja center.
By car: If you are not comfortable driving in Mexico, we can easily arrange for our shuttle to pick you up at a designated border parking lot.
Our Baja center has recently been renovated to give patients all the familiar comforts of home as well as some added luxuries. Retreat to the tranquility of your private oceanfront room, keeping an eye on the horizon for the chance of a dolphin sighting, or delight in the company of others as you sip on a refreshing drink from our new, fresh-squeezed juice bar. All of our amenities are designed with community in mind, from comfortable common areas to personal phone lines with unlimited call capability. We know being away from family during treatment can be tough, so we book all rooms based on double occupancy, allowing a companion to accompany patients on their Hope4Cancer journey at no extra cost.
Our close proximity to both Tijuana and San Diego provides a wealth of options for free time activity. Take advantage of your time here and join one of our city tours, or simply step outside and experience the serenity of a west coast sunset – at your Baja Hope4Cancer home, the beach is literally your backyard!

Our Patients' Stories
Journeys of Hope and Healing
I knew deep within my bones that chemo would kill me and that I would rather die than take that path. I had a young son and I especially needed to listen to that still voice within my heart, so I could choose the correct path so I could be there for him.
Hurry up. Make a decision. You need surgery. You need radiation so it does not get worse. This was something I could handle if I would get moving on it. But no prognosis. They were confident we caught it early and with treatment I could live a healthy life.
Life is a gift. Not just the years, but the minutes. I breathe more deeply and carry less heartache inside. I do not see my days as boxes to be filled on a calendar, but days to keep flexible, to be fully present in each moment whether I am pushing my little ones on the swings at the park, or sitting on the backyard swing at night with my husband.
My career in the pharmaceutical industry for 14 years had trained my mind to only understand and believe in gold standard clinical research… But I knew somewhere in my heart that there had to be another answer to dying of chemo and side effects slowly over a year or more… I knew my God was bigger!
A cancer diagnosis is scary for anyone. When you hear your doctor say, “There is a very large something in your abdomen and it is very likely a sarcoma,” your world just kind of stops. I was at work when I got the call. My husband was in the next office. I went in, sat down, started crying and said, “I have cancer.” That word just filled up my mind and seemed to pervade every waking moment.
Through this experience I’ve learned that our bodies are amazing! That it can heal and do amazing things if we listen to it. That cancer is not a death diagnosis, it means the body is out of balance so lets find the imbalance and repair it so the body can repair itself. Cancer can’t live in a balanced body.

Our Seven Key Principles
Conventional medicine focuses on treating only the symptoms of cancer, often missing the cause and resulting in relapse. At Hope4Cancer, we believe that a well-rounded treatment is designed not just to treat the disease, but to heal the person. Identified by Hope4Cancer’s own Dr. Tony Jimenez and published in the UCLA peer-reviewed journal, Forums of Immunopathological Diseases and Therapeutics, The Seven Key Principles of Cancer Therapy are the foundation for our unique whole-body approach to fighting cancer.Learn More
Is Chemotherapy your only choice?
For many types of cancer, chemotherapy is the recommended treatment, or part of a treatment protocol that may also include surgery and/or radiation. They’re known as the “three pillars” of cancer care. Any of these options require amazing strength and faith in the medical community.Learn More
