The colon is a six foot section of the body's digestive system that moves waste material from the small intestine to the rectum. The rectum is at the end of the colon. The function of the colon is to extract fluids from waste material.

Cervical cancer can be very serious. It is cancer that usually begins with malignant cells within the cervix. Women may unknowingly increase their risk for cervical cancer by smoking, using oral contraceptives, and having many sexual partners.
